Chris joined Mercor last year, after a difficult few months struggling to find film work. Unlike many people who suspect they’re casualties of automation, he knew for certain that this was the case. So that October, when Chris received an offer to write an entire sci-fi screenplay for a major AI company, he said “yes,” grim as the prospect was.
